New Years Resolution #1 for 2010- Write a blog. Well, here I am writing my first blog and don't know what to say. Usually I have much to say about nothing, but the opposite seems to apply now. When put on the spot, even if it's by me, I am tongue-tied. (I can't even do that tie the cherry stem with my tongue trick!)
So I guess what I will say is WELCOME to my blog. I hope that I can write things that you might find amusing or interesting. I plan on writing about any and all things that may wander into my sometimes demented mind. I plan to write about the past, the present and plans for the future. If I digress into science fiction please hang in there because I want to write stories too and I know that the tall tales I tell will be much more interesting than my real life.
I apologize ahead that if I am not always the optimist because I never have been. I have always been the type to fear the worst and then be glad when things went right. I am going to try to be happy and thankful for something everyday and try to make some sense of life as it is so far.
Ok so I am not starting out with a prize winning story. But here I am officially blogging. Happy New Year. This is truly the first day of the rest of my life.
